Philodendrons

Monstera, not a true philodendron

Philodendrons come in a variety of leaf coloring and size, some growing so large as to be called "tree" philodendrons and other vining types that are perfect for hanging baskets.

Identification of the many species is complicated by differences in form and size of leaves between juvenile and adult growth stages, and by the vast number of hybrids that have been produced commercially.
