Gardening / Plant Questions

If you have gardening questions that you want answered, your best bet is to talk to your county Extension office.  

Your county office is staffed with expert horticulturists and trained Master Gardener volunteers who are familiar with the gardening conditions in your area and who are happy to help. Many offices even take questions over the phone.

Rebecca Clapp
Communications Manager

Rebecca comes to the CLUE Communications team after more than 20 years as a video producer in television news and at IFAS Communications. She has a bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Production from the University of Florida and now oversees the communications efforts for the programs and faculty members within CLUE.

Natasha Atlas
Science Communicator

After interning with CLUE for a year, Natasha joined the staff full-time in 2022. She's a graduate of UF's AEC department, where she developed skills in writing, graphic design, videography, and photography. Now, she writes articles for the Gardening Solutions website and the Neighborhood Gardener newsletter. Natasha also manages the Florida Master Gardener Volunteer program's Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Jennifer Sykes
Digital Communications Coordinator

Joining the Center in the summer of 2007, Jennifer is the content editor and manages the Gardening Solutions website, along with sites and social media for CLUE and the Florida Master Gardener Volunteer program. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communication from Florida State University, and has more than twenty years of experience in writing and web design/production for higher education.
