Meet Emily Eubanks
Emily has been with the Center for Land Use Efficiency since May 2006. She is responsible for the center's Information Office and all horticulture mass media efforts. Current projects include the "Gardening in a Minute" radio show and" Your Southern Garden" TV show, set to launch in spring 2009.
Emily has a bachelor's and master's degree from UF in agricultural communications. She was recently recognized as the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Alumni Horizon Award Winner.
Emily and her husband, John, live on the family farm in Micanopy with Will, 6, and Kaitlyn, 4. Their menagerie of animals includes goats, chickens, pigs, rabbits, dogs, kittens, and many, many beef cows. She enjoys gardening (with a brown thumb!), crocheting, sewing, and reading in the little bit of spare time that she has.
