Dr. Dukes specializes in irrigation and drainage engineering; water quantity and quality issues; crop consumptive use / evapotranspiration; and Best Management Practices to reduce nonpoint source pollution. Dr. Dukes received a PhD in biological and agricultural engineering from North Carolina State University.
