Flowers and Foliage
Ti Plant, or Cordyline (Cordyline fruiticosa)
The colorful leaves of the ti plant, also called cordyline, are held on upright, slender stems up to 10 feet tall. They range in color from variegated light greens and pinks to reds to nearly black. Leaves are simple and clustered in spirals. Petioles are channeled and clasp the stems. Flowers are produced in panicles and considered inconspicuous. The berry fruits are seldom seen.
