France Trip—Summer 2008

Experience the French world of flowers — expressed in art, architecture, music, cuisine, and formal landscape design. Study the genius of Andre le Notre, the greatest French landscape gardener. Visit chateaux, cathedrals, markets, and garden centers in traditional French cities along the Loire River. Savor five full days in and around Paris, perhaps the world’s most beautiful city.

Date: June 19 (depart U.S.) through June 30, 2008

Cost: $3,200 per person, including $500 advance reservation fee.
There is an additional $1,000 fee for single occupancy. UF reserves the right to adjust the fee as needed if the value of the euro increases significantly prior to departure.

Registration limited to 30 persons.

Included:

  • 4-star hotel accommodations, double occupancy
  • Continental breakfast daily
  • Tour bus transportation
  • Tour guides and translators
  • Garden, attraction, and museum entrance fees
  • Six evening group dinners; three group lunches

Not included:   

  • Round-trip air-fare to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport
  • Trip insurance
  • Optional activities
  • Ground transportation in Paris
  • Wine and other alcoholic beverages

A $500 non-refundable advance reservation fee is required for each person. Reservations are accepted according to the date that deposits are received. Checks should be made payable to “University of Florida.”
