Potato, Irish (Solanum tuberosum)
The leaves are compound, soft green in color with a slightly rough texture. Edible tubers are oblong to round in shape, red, green or brownish in color and smooth skinned with slight indentions (eyes). Small (½-inch diameter) flowers range from white to purple.
