Podocarpus (Podocarpus macrophyllus)
An upright, densely-foliaged evergreen shrub or tree with a narrow columnar canopy. Simple leaves are linear and spirally arranged, with entire margins. They are leathery in texture, glossy dark green above with a prominent midrib. Seeds are covered with a green fleshy layer and are borne on a purple, fleshy, receptacle.
