The UF/IFAS Sumter County Master Gardener volunteers are hosting the 2018 Plantoberfest at the Sumter County Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 13, from 9 am to 4 pm, and on Sunday, October 14, from 10 am to 2 pm.

Attend classes on Creating Leis from Plants in the Garden, Plant Propagation, Fall Container Gardening, Fruit and Vegetable Flavored Waters, and more. Tour the demonstration garden and sit in on talks held on Saturday and Sunday. Youth Activities sponsored by Sumter County 4-H will provide learning and fun! Bring your questions to the Ask the Master Gardener Booth, learn when to do what in your garden by purchasing a Master Gardener Gardening in Sumter County Month-by-Month calendar, and enjoy bidding on items in the Silent Auction on Saturday.

Visit vendors on Saturday and Sunday to find perennials, annuals, shrubs and trees, crafts and yard art, eat at food trucks, and much more! Come support the Sumter County Master Gardener volunteers at the 2018 Plantoberfest!
