Stepping Stones

Stepping stones are a Florida-friendly way to create a path. Because they cover less ground than a sidewalk, rainwater is more easily absorbed, reducing runoff. They also keep foot traffic off turfgrass and groundcovers, and allow you to work in large beds without compacting the soil. Plan your pathway before laying the stones and make sure they're level and low enough to mow over.
