Garden Pathways

A path directs you through the garden, keeps your feet dry, and reduces soil compaction. Materials range from brick, flagstones, or porous pavers, crushed shells, stepping stones, gravel, and even mulch. If you choose large pavers, make sure to add space between each paver to allow water to flow through them. Loose materials like mulch and gravel will need edging to keep them from "wandering" out of the path.
